I have not been a dog lover.
My sentiments slowly but completely changed when little Bling-bling came into my life.
He was a woolly bubbly frisky Miniature Schnauzer Puppy brought home by my son.
Opposites attract. The more I avoided him, the more he loved to run behind me and collide into me in a game of run away if you can.
Very soon some more dog lovers became a part of our family. My daughter in law, she loves to get off the car and talk to strays; my grandchildren Naisha and Aayush who adopted two strays, Donna and Pancake. They also have one 8-year-old Siberian Husky.
Not only all this but when I got married, no one ever told me that Jiggy, a big brown Alsatian was my husband’s roommate.
When I walked into the house the poor chap, Jiggy I mean was lying on the bed and I had to find a bed elsewhere.
But now, surrounded by these furry friends and their masters, I have begun to have a reversal of feelings and somehow much to my own opposition I am slowly falling in love with these “forever friends”.
